Description
A Morroccan dog breed used primarily for guarding herds of livestock. Their keen scenting abilities also make them ideal hunting dogs. They posses a muscular body covered by a thick coarse coat. This breed is primarily a working dog but can make a good pet if provided with enough mental and physical stimulation.
Coloring
White, Black, Pale Red and Tawny.
Temperament
Courageous, Energetic and Highly Protective.
Origin
Probably originating in the Sahara. Recognized as coming from North Africa.
